FAQs

  • My practice is primarily focused on preventive medicine, meaning I practicing a type of medicine that helps people not only live longer, but also live better free of chronic disease.

This means I use tools from all aspects of medicine from my formal training as a naturopathic physician which utilizes nutrition, exercise, sleep, botanical medicine, supplementation, stress management, mental/emotional health, along with my training in Traditional Chinese Medicine and then combined with my training in the modern conventional medicine model. This is what I call Good Medicine.

I am licensed Naturopathic doctor (CT: 000575, CA: ND1296) and a licensed Acupuncturist (005880). I also completed my Functional Medicine training with the Institute for Functional Medicine.

  • In 1997 my late father experienced two heart attacks and was permanently disabled from working. For the remaining 30 years of his life, I watched him slowly suffer from every chronic disease that we know kills thousands of Americans today — heart disease, cancer, Alzheimers, sarcopenia, and lung disease. As a child I had hoped that his doctors would be able to solve his chronic illnesses, but unfortunately all they had to offer was bandaids.

When I realized conventional medicine didn’t have much to offer, I took it upon myself to search for other solutions which is when I began my journey into integrative medicine and nutrition. I first started with my B.S. in Nutrition from New York University, because I knew nutrition was foundational for health and advanced to nutrition as medicine to the dictorate level with naturopathic medicine and TCM.

  • Due the nature of my work and the time investment into every patient, I can only take on a select amount of patients per year. At the moment, the onboarding period is closed but please stay tuned via my website newsletter to learn when new spots open.

  • Medicine and health are applied sciences. We take the principles of science and research an apply it to the human body. But medicine is both an art and science, where we accumulate extensive research and scientific knowledge and apply it to a complex human body.

Evidence-lead medicine means really understanding scientific research, as limited or extensive as it may be, and integrating it into a complex human body which in the end results in helping people improve their health.
